http://debate2012.du.edu/Presidential DebateWednesday, Oct. 3, 2012The University of Denver is hosting the first of the three 2012 presidential debates on Wednesday, Oct. 3, in Magness Arena.Tickets to the presidential debate are not available to the public. The debate is produced by the Commission on Presidential Debates.Join us on Oct. 3 near the center of campus for DebateFest: live music, activities, local vendors and more—followed by a live, outdoor telecast of the debate. We cannot let this corporate charade go down unchallenged in Colorado. Voices that need to be heard like our own Jill Stein and Gary Johnson of the Libertarian party, will be silenced. What are we going to do? Who is up for organizing a protest, direct action, street theater, people's debate, what have you? We can form a coalition with the Libertarian Party, Occupy, and many other progressive voices to demand all candidates on enough ballots to win an Electoral College victory be included. The national political spotlight will be on DU that night: let's seize it and turn it green.
