Call for Co Chair Nominations

Good afternoon,Since Bill Bartlett has resigned from his position as co-chair via his forum post on Proposal 005-16 dated October 2nd, I'd like to invite nominations for the position of interim state party co-chair, to serve the remainder of the two-year term.  I'd suggest that the nomination period be 30 days from today and that Ranked Choice Voting among the Council be used to select from the nominees.  Nominees can be from any chapter and a member in good standing, accept the 10 Key Values and abide by the guidelines as listed in the bylaws.  In addition, since Bill has voluntarily resigned, Arapahoe and Poudre Valley would like to formally withdraw Proposal 005-16.Thank you,Sean FriendGPCO SecretaryCo Chair, Arapahoe County

I would like to nominate Arn Menconi for the co chair vacancy.  Arn has been an amazing Senate candidate.  He has raised more money for his campaign than any Colorado Green candidate.  He will probably receive more votes than any Colorado Green candidate has in the past as well.  He is a get-stuff-done kinda guy and I think he would make a fantastic co chair.Kevin AlumbaughGreater Boulder Green Party

I second Dave Bell.Since we have reached the end of the 30 day nomination period, I suggest that we begin a vote using RCV among Council members. Brittany, can you please facilitate a vote for interim co chair in Council Voting, or wherever would be most appropriate?
