MemberWe really want to get the annual meeting off the ground, and this bureaucratic stuff is getting in the way. Andrea, Laura, and I were throwing around August 29 or September 12, at the Corky Gonzales Library in Denver. Denver is very central, and the Corky Gonzales Library is a VERY fitting place to hold our meeting. If you don't know your Denver Latino history, he was quite a revolutionary figure, and it would be honoring to launch our 2016 year in a building that bears his name. That isn't decided, though, so if you feel strongly about another location (even another county) please speak up! We'll have 7 hours at the library (taking an hour for lunch) to get party business accomplished. Considering the challenges we faced last year, I think we can do it. 🙂 Our cost would be $80 for the eight hour day. Please cast a vote, discuss, and change your vote if necessary to reflect your views. The poll will close in a few days so we can make a proposal to cover the costs.

MemberThe cool thing is that this library is very tech savvy, so we could have our remote counties Skype in with no problems. It has a large computer monitor screen so that it's easy for everyone to watch, too.

MemberI just realized that last Saturdays are sometimes an issue for me, so I'm throwing my support for the 12th. However, holding it either before or after Labor Day sets a nice tone, as well. 🙂 A great time for a "Green Party"!

MemberIt doesn't matter to me which Saturday the meeting is on and I think it will be wonderful to meet in the Corky Gonzales Library in Denver. I will look forward to seeing everyone. Thank you for all for setting this up.

MemberEither date works for me and the location is great. I think it would be very green for the more remote chapters to be able to attend electronically.Kevin AlumbaughGreater Boulder Green Party

MemberI was backpacking for three days last weekend, so did not get to vote. Either date is ok with me. The sooner the better.

MemberI prefer the 12th of Sept. School will have already started, so the preparation meetings I have to go on the weekends to will be out of the way:)
