At the state convention, we had 4 volunteers to attend the national convention, Ryan Jones, Bob Kinsey, Gary Swing, Misha Luzov. We have 7 total delegate slots. Is anyone else interested in attending? Can you try to recruit someone from your local? You know how uplifting and energizing it is to meet fellow greens from around Colorado and realize there are a lot more of us than we often think. Now imagine that multiplied tenfold by attending the national convention, meeting, getting to know, learning from greens all across the US. Jumpstart your green party activism - deepen your convictions - have some fun! - go to the national convention.We have to submit our delegation credentials to the national office within 30 days of our convention (April 30), so we have a week or so. I will fill out what I have so far, but if anyone else wants to go, speak now or forever hold your peace.
National rules allow proxy voting for no more than 1 person per delegate up to a state's delegate limit, so if we send 4 people we can exercise our full 7 votes. If we send 3, we have six votes, etc. We do need to credential even the proxies, and our deadline is fast approaching (April 30). I suppose we could credential delegates who do not actually plan to go, so we can exercise the proxy votes. But we do need 4 folks to go – any other volunteers? Gary will be unable to attend, Misha is a maybe, so that leaves only Bob Kinsey and Ryan Jones as definites.
That's too bad about Gary. I don't think I could make it even if we weren't pas the deadline. Does anyone know if we can help Misha attend?

Each delegate can carry a proxy vote for one other delegate, so if we can send at least 4 people we would have our full 7 votes. If we can send at least 3, we can have 6 votes.Questions:1) how do people feel about adding Polina? Are there other questions you have for her before being able to make a decision?2) Are there other volunteers who might want to go to the national convention?
