Denver PrideFest is this weekend (June 16 and 17). The Denver Greens considered participating in the parade but it was a little bit too expensive for us this year. Maybe next year we can get several locals to participate and share the cost of the registration fee. PrideFest would also be a great place for us to table, but the fees for this are even higher than the parade fee. Gary Swing and I talked about passing out literature without reserving a booth. He told me that this is not allowed and security heavily enforces this. He did say though that he has had luck passing out literature just outside of the event, and that he plans on distributing his campaign literature this way this year.
