Earth Day 4/22/12 Money Bloom for Dr. Jill Stein!

I've been working with the Stein campaign to coordinate some fundraising here in Colorado.  They are putting together a Money Bloom on April 22, 2012 (time TBA).  The idea is to host small gatherings, in the home, in schools, coffee shops, etc, and have a laptop or computer available to broadcast a live chat from Dr. Stein.  She will answer questions and accept donations throughout the event.  This is an opportunity for us to introduce Dr. Stein to fellow Greens and others who may not be aware of our message. This is the ultimate in decentralized fundraising.  If we can each gather a few friends, family, and associates for the money bomb that day (potlucks, chinese auctions, whatever works locally for you) we can put Colorado on the map for fundraising.  And, we can get some practice hosting synchronized grassroots gatherings, which I think could come in handy as a fundraising/social tool for Colorado in the future. Could I have some input and some volunteers for hosts? Blessings, Bill B.

I have contributed my limit to Stein and also raised a small amount in door anonymous donations as well in CS.    If every active green and the council  on the council or attenders at local meetings contributed $50 would we not hit the $5000 mark?  This should not be impossible goal.
