I would really like to see the GPOC have a couple of people designated as the EventS Coordinators.  That person could make the members aware of events coming up and be the main planner of some of the events.  This weekend Lafayette is going to have a parade with a bunch of Democrats and Sanders' supporters and it wounld have beens so good if we had some people marching with signs for our candidates and issues.  The GPOC could take turns supporting the different chapters.  An example would be one month it is announced on emails that the GPOC will be supporting Lafayette parade with banners and signs, especially about the TPP and bombing of Syria ect.  Next month perhaps a chapter is wanting to host a special guest soeaker like John Kireakou in Adams-Jeffco's area, then an announcement could be made by the GPOC encouraging everyone to attend that event and help where needed. The coordinator could also look ahead at halidays, parades, protest campaigns, fairs and try to have at least a few people represent the party at the events; like Laura did for the People's Fair.  I think it would be good and more fun to have two people work on this together and then add a committee to support the work. They could plan a special day in the month where the GPOC come together for lunch and visiting and then spend an hour or two together making phone calls to let people know about the Green Party.

It's a good idea, and it's a classic example of what an outreach committee ought to do.One thing we didn't get to do at the state meeting is realign our committees.Do you think you'd be interested in working with Laura to get this going?

Yes I would very much like to work with Laura.  It would also be nice to work with Laura because Tom would like to have her direction and advice on attending to the issues of the Treasurer and is looking forward to receiving some of her encouragement along with her direction.  Laura really is a very wise and talented woman, if we could continue to have her a place of leadership over a group of people, I believe it would be beneficial to the GPOC.
