MemberI've created this bulletin, I'll be putting one together every month over the next year. This one is a quickie, and I want to post it tomorrow. Any thoughts?

MemberLet me know if you see any typos or anything.. I'd be willing to add something, maybe, but I don't want to hold it up. Hopefully, these bulletins could be shared with members and potential members, letting people know what's been going on over the last month, and maybe highlighting some upcoming things, as well.

MemberI wouldn't want it as a pdf that I have to download and open, hopefully if my smart phone has a pdf reader. Better to use an email interface, like MailChimp, where we can have html emails.

MemberI'm open to that.

MemberAlthough there are advantages to PDF format, such as ease of formatting. 🙂

MemberLooks good – time to get it started. Also – the link for the chapters is going to the state site and the information on that page is seriously out of date. Denver hasn't met at the Mercury Cafe for over a year. We meet 3rd Wednesday at Blair-Caldwell Library, 2401 Welton St, Denver, 6:00pm. I would prefer the link on your newsletter for Denver go to our web site, not state's… http://denvergreenparty.org/ You also don't have Douglas County listed or Southwest. I don't think we want to limit this to front range. Also, you said this would be posted – state site? Emailed as well?

MemberGreat feedback Laura! I can change the links to make them go to each chapter.. I think everyone has at least a Facebook page. Also, I'm going to just nix that chapter info on the Events page. I'm about ready to chuck the who events page for a different plugin. This one wants money for recurring events, etc. 🙁

MemberDistribution — everywhere!! That's why I thought PDF would be good, since it allows it to be distributed well, and there are many readers that also parse the content for searches. I tried to aim the content at existing Greens but also people who may not know a lot about us. For future Bulletins, I would love to get some stuff from the chapters to include, things they've done, and things they will do. Its a work in progress, and its something that shows that we're active statewide.

MemberThanks for the feedback and support. Here's a prefinal version. I was thinking I would simply send this to all of the chapter leaders to distribute as they see fit..? Maybe I could post a link to it on Facebook, as well? I'm open to ideas..?

MemberI like the prefinal version of the Dec. bulletin.IMO distribution of GPCO bulletins should include the GPCO website and Facebook page and Colorado media outlets. The media prefers press releases in text in emails; attachments often don't get read.
