Great News! Jill Stein will be here this coming Sunday and Monday to speak at the 420 Rallies. The arrangements for the speeches have been taken care of but... Now that she's guaranteed to be here I'd like to make the most of her visit. The morning of April 20th at 8am she will be available for a Cannabis Fundraiser breakfast. I've reached out to some members of the community that said they'd be interested in speaking with her. The evening of April 20th (after the rally) she is available for a Green Party fundraiser. She's asked if we could get "Soul Flow" involved .. that's one of the groups that performed last time she was here. We need some help with a few things: - a good place for breakfast in the Denver area that would be suitable for up to 10 people. - getting the word out about her visitI'm going to try to get that same spot we had last time for the music. Final details will be worked out in the next few days, but she's SUPER EXCITED to be coming back to Denver. Would anyone like to lend a hand this week to bring this thing together with me?

I'm pretty swamped this week but am interested in supporting the Green Party fundraiser. I've already sent a 'hold the date' note to Greater Boulder Greens and will publicize the details asap.If there is a specific job I could do in a couple hours, I'm available.
We didn't have the support to throw a fundraiser successfully. Her staff took the opportunity for face-to-face working while they had the chance. This time, their staff gave us less than a month's notice they were coming. Most of the details were ironed out within the 10 days prior to her arrival. Next year they intend on coming again for the rally. Knowing this we will be better prepared for her arrival.
