¡Hola compañeros!GPUS has asked me to nominate folks for a couple of very crucial committees; namely, the Ballot Access Committee (BAC) and the Presidential Campaign Support Committee (PCSC).The Ballot Access Committee assists in petitioning, lobbying for fair ballot access laws, and holding state governments accountable in court. They have been involved in the recent ballot access win in Arkansas, and are working hard for Missouri and others.  More info about that committee is here: http://gp.org/ballot-access-committeeThe PCSC is the interface between candidates and the BAC.  More information here: http://gp.org/pcsc-mission-statementI will not mince words that there is a need for objectivity and transparency on these committees.  If you are a strong supporter of one presidential candidate over another, this will not be a good fit for you. If you can be fair and objective, you could do Colorado proud.  Also, the party really wants to see more diversity; that is, women, youth, people of color, etc. These committees have two conference calls per month, each. As we get closer to the nominating convention in Houston next year, you can expect the pace to quicken. Please email me some of your thoughts about joining either of these committees so that I can put together an appointment proposal for the council to vote on. I'm at andreamerida@gmail.com.I'm placing an arbitrary deadline of two weeks from today's post, or Sunday, September 13.Thanks!
