When I was at the People's Fair, I got a reality check about the number of petitions floating around and the complexities involved in deciding which to sign and which not. What I also realized is how much wisdom we have in this party, among our leaders and our members. I'd like to propose an omnibus ballot recommendation from the Greens, where we can: - roll down a list of the more pertinent initiatives seeking signature- give some insight into each and a recommendation of support or notOnce we pass the proposal, we announce it with link or contacts for those people who want to engage on an issue they are passionate about. This gives us an opportunity to share our wisdom and direct our members toward signature drives that need their help. I'm look for sponsors that will help me do a little research on the initiatives we want to include in the omnibus.
That's a great idea. I too was overwhelmed by the amount of petitions at the People's Fair. It'll be one huge ballot if they all make it!
