I agree – but I'd like to express my feeling that this seems like a detail best left to the discretion of the WG. I trust them to spend only what is prudent! Perhaps the bylaws have some kind of expenditure threshold… thanks for all your work!Peace,Steve SaintPikes Peak Greens

Does the meeting space have free wifi or at least wifi included in that rental price? What hours can we have the room for that cost? How many people can fit in the room? Are we allowed to have food in the room? Is there an attached kitchen or sink area?I am interested in those details before stating agreement or disagreement. We have mostly been able to get donated space for past annual meetings, so to spend the amount that is requested, it would be nice to know whether the space is really adequate.Thank you, Tanya

Yes, the space does have wifi.  And we have the room from 9:00am to 4:00pm.  If folks think we need more time I might be able to arrange that, and the cost would not go up.  As for numbers I asked to have tables set up for 50 people however the room can hold close to 80 or more people.  (It is used for camps in the summer, as well as birthday parties and other functions) There is two sinks in the room, and yes we can have food in the room. However, no alcohol is allowed. Just thought that, this should be stated 🙂 Hope this helps.  Chris

Agree, and would be OK with $300 as an approximate amount – we don't have to spend it all, and a little over would be OK as long as it does not dig deeply into available funds.

I agree and would say this is an excellent effort and find in the shortened time that has been necessary to plan for the meeting this year.  I do like the Green Party & its people.  🙂 ;D ::)
