The state never paid for any of the Denver local “advertising”  We had made these really neat “business cards” that used to be handed out at events such as the people's fair. They were smaller and less paper waste and were used by all chapters to promote the GPCO.  The Denver Greens were not reimbursed or I guess I should say I wasn't paid back but I never asked.  I believe local should pay for what locals use. As far as this chapter being a small chapter, what chapter isn'tBob 99.9% of assessors are appraisers that work their way up, most are appointed not elected.  Aren't sheriffs generally law enforcement agents?

Since we do not have a treasurer, it is not legal for our chapter to raise funds.  Thus the only legal way to “advertise” is to donate to the State and request an allocation of those funds back to our chapter.  Note that “in-kind” donations either may be or are also illegal.Michael HaugheyA-J Chairperson

Since the Bylaws (4.3) require consensus of the council for expenditures over $200, this version of the proposal has been tabled.  A new round of Agreement Seeking on an amended proposal can be found at the link below. Agree. We have money, let's spend it to help build the party in Adams/Jefferson.I especially agree with Steve Saint - locals should be able to raise, spend and file campaign reports for their own funds without requiring state action. I file the reports for PV Greens - it is not hard.
