Thank you,Bill Bartlett, Co-chair and Interim Current Council FacilitatorProposal 005a-12 to Designate Funds for Advertising in Adams/Jefferson. 1. Date Proposed: October 25, 2012, Proposed by Michael Haughey, cosponsored by Tanya Ishikawa. Amended on November 10, 2012 by Bill Bartlett. 2. Title: Designate Funds for Advertising in Adams/Jefferson3. Text: We are proposing that the GPCO designate up to $50 for printing fliers to be distributed in the Adams/Jefferson area. The Adams/Jefferson Greens will provide copies of receipts for state bookkeeping purposes. 4. Background: The Adams/Jefferson Greens operate without a bank account at this time. A number of their locals have contributed to the state, and they have an active chapter with a representative in office (Tanya Ishikawa). Flier distribution may increase attendance and awareness of the local party. 5. Goals/Justification: The fliers are meant to draw attention to the local Green Party presence in Adams and Jefferson counties. The goal is to increase registrations, attendance, and public awareness of the local Green Party. Alternatives: Open to discussion.

MemberSeems like I repsonded to this already, but maybe this is a new proposal. I agree with the stated concern that the local needs to move ahead with plans to open a bank account and do a little fundraising. Keep up the good work! 🙂

MemberI will stand aside. But I think locals need to raise their own money. That is not what the state party is for
