I'm not sure why this is being framed as a proposal..? Calling for nominations is automatic, it requires no proposal. Could we please clarify the intent?
The intent is to actually spur on the call for nominations, as well as lay down some ground rules for qualification that the bylaws are silent on.
I believe this has already passed, even with the amendments. Please confirm; we need to get a call out to our chapters. Thanks.
Andrea, we have 3 who agree with the inclusions. Sean would make 4 if he posts his agreement to the amended proposal. That would mean we are still 1 vote shy of a passed proposal. Bill or Laura agreeing would equal the 5 needed to pass the proposal.
I am OK with H1, H2, and H4. H3 I believe should stay at 6 months. It gives Colorado Greens time to get to know the nominator. Otherwise we are more vulnerable to infiltrators. I am OK with nominations being made at the state meeting/convention as has been done in the past. There is no need to rush through a proposal with a compromise just for this one meeting.Michael HaugheyAJ Greens
