great, bill. i think we ought to begin this on-line experiment by beta-testing the forum with a few folks, and once we have a core group comfortable with operating here, open it to the restructuring group that was chosen at our face-to-face meet this summer.
Hi Michael! Yes, when you post you should see a link under the text box that says "Additional Options" ... choose the "Notify me of replies" option and you will be informed when someone replies to that topic. Good to see you here.
The names can be changed, but it is simply a reflection on the number of posts you've made to the forum. the levels currently are: 1. newbie 0 posts2. jr member 50 posts3. full member 100 posts3. sr. member 250 posts3. hero member 500 posts
How much beta-testing do you think we will need? I think most GPOC Council Members have experience with a forum site like this- I say let's get everyone over here in the pool and get going!
you're probably right, john…i was thinking to start with a small group to be sure this will work, but maybe we ought to just dive in. bill, can we ask all the restructuring committee to weigh in?artg
At this point, we have invited everyone on the council and the restructuring task force to participate in the forum. 🙂 We've had a few new entries, so let's see how it goes. Blessings,Bill B.
i think kevin and jonesy have got us moving on the right track.we've invited folks onto the forum to discuss the reorganization, but hardly anyone has responded. i think by getting us moving on the next really important matter of business, our convention deadlines (thank you, gary), we can jumpstart the reorganization and form an on-going reorganization committee, while focusing on finding candidates for local offices in our state who have a chance of winning.artgco-chair
