MemberWe're looking for people to be on the committee for the Annual Meeting this year in Telluride. An informal email discussion has been opened, but I wanted to get some formal council communication on this. I think Art has expressed his desire to help, as well as Bob. I'd like to see at least 4 committee members. I think we have a volunteer in that area that would like to help as well. I'll reach out to him and find out what his availability is.

MemberHi, I would like to be a fourth or fifth person on this committee with minimal duties. In other words, I believe my knowledge of the Telluride area and organization of past meetings could be helpful but I don't have tons of time to devote to this. Tanya

MemberThanks Michael and Tanya. We will gladly take any assistance you can offer. That makes three (Art, Tanya, and Michael). I think Michael and Tanya would prefer advisory positions, which may require less time. Here are two basic operating rules I would like to see for this committee: 1. A formal report emailed to the GPCO co-chairs of the proceedings of the committee, present at the first of each month through the annual meeting, with a final report due the 1st of July with recommendations for the following year. 2. A preliminary schedule with milestones presented to the GPCO co-chairs by April 1. I'll be posting a request for committee members through various channels over the next week to see if we can get some fresh blood from the Telluride area to take more active roles and perhaps relieve our more busy members from bearing the brunt of these duties. Thank you everyone for volunteering your time!

MemberWe have fourth member for the committee. He's a San Miguel Green and new to volunteering with the party. His name is Adam Cline, and his account is being activated for the forum so he can participate. I'm also volunteering myself as an adviser to the group. I've taken the liberty of changing the functional name of this group to a "Working Group" rather than a committee. It will otherwise function as a committee, with the additional understanding that it will wind down after the annual meeting. Here is a link to the board for the working group. http://gpco.fullydefiant.com/forum/index.php?board=49.0

MemberHey everyone, I was wondering about this year's state meeting and finally checked the forum. Got to get into the habit.I can help out also in a "limited time" capacity but it would be good to get a date chosen. I can do any of the dates Tanya mentioned except maybe not August 31st. This is one of the dates we might reschedule our event at the Nomad Theater. We got bumped as the lady who books the Nomad double-booked for June 15th. I went to the working committee page but couldn't see how to reply. Kevin Alumbaugh

MemberThanks to Kevin for joining this group. We need to pick the state meeting date(s). Here were my earlier suggestions (which are still available for me):July 6, July 13, July 20Aug. 10, 17, 24, 31I will post this to the other forum list and email it to you too (though I don't have Adam's email address).I really don't have much time for the Greens these days but I hope to contribute a bit to this since I already committed. Can Adam Cline be our chair? If not, anyone else? Can we agree to choose two date options by May 25? Then, the chair can send those out to the council and state party members and I could post something to the GPCO website if you want, asking people to vote on which date. We can try to collect votes and tally by June 6?Are we set with the location being in San Miguel County? Any discussion about more specifics on that yet? Thanks, Tanya
