Colleagues, wanted to tip you off on some strangeness happening on Facebook this week. There has been a guy named Mike Sanchez, out of Berkeley, CA, who has been creating unauthorized Facebook Green Party groups without consulting with individual chapters. A group called “Green Party of Denver” was started, and several people and I were added to it without our consent.I mentioned to Sanchez that we already have a chapter and a FB page (it's here, for your reference: (http://facebook.com/DenverGreens) and repeatedly asked him to delete his group, because he could be hampering our outreach efforts. Instead of adhering to my request as the official co-chair of the Denver chapter, he blocked me from his group. It has now transformed into another group: https://www.facebook.com/groups/greenpartyofdenver/?ref=br_tf.Some of you have been added to these groups, and we are telling people that we have not authorized the creation of the group, and we recommend people leave it, because we can't guarantee that it isn't set up for some scam-related reasons. Incidentally, we just received a reply email from GPUS office that they have not authorized him to do anything of the sort, nor even know who he is.Just an FYI.Peace to you all.Andrea
