I believe it would be helpful to have a State Platform for approval at the State Convention. Please go to GP-ppr.org to look at a draft of the El Paso County Platform for ideas. I also believe that Fran Shure's emails about a platform item regarding the reopening of the investigation of 9/11 would be in order and the previous platform statements listed on the State Web Site would be appropriate for such a document. If there is any support for creation of such a document I would be open to workng on melding the previous State Platform and the GP-PPR draft, presenting it soon for discussion on this Forum for further refinement prior to the State Convention. I would hope that the Council and Convention Committee would post the draft document on the State Web Site to make it available to potential GP voters to examine prior to the Convention and to put it on the agenda of the Convention.
