MemberWe need a plan for 2015 and beyond. I would prefer we do NOT wait until the annual meeting to start deciding which direction to steer this ship, and who will be manning each position. Since this is an off-year, we don't have to hold our meeting in March; April or May would be better (May has been suggested as the best option). Before that meeting, we need a small group of people to give recommendations for our 2015-2016 strategy, as well as OWN these changes to see them through. I think no more than seven people on the committee, with the details of their meetings to be decided once we have determined who would like to be part it. Suggestions, input, volunteers?

MemberI agree that GPCO form a strategic planning committee to prepare recommendations for the 2015 annual meeting.Suggestions:1. Strategy Committee membership: One person from each local chapter, designated by the co-chair(s) of each chapter.2. Meetings: All committee meetings will be accessible remotely, using Skype, GoToMeeting, or a similar application.3. Organization: The committee will be self-organizing.4. Start date: February 22. Chapter co-chairs to designate their representative by February 21.5. Finish date: The committee will report its recommendations on or before March 13, 2015.Volunteers:Harry Hempy volunteers to represent the Greater Boulder chapter, subject to approval of co-chairs Kevin Alumbaugh and Susan Hall.Harry volunteers to set up and administer the remote meeting facilities for the committee.

MemberAwesome! I was going to suggest one person from each chapter, as well. Thank you for offering to prepare the "facilities" for this Virtual Summit, Harry! I like the idea of GoToMeeting or similar, so we can at least have the option for video as well as audio. Setting a dealing for recommendations seems premature to me.

MemberI'll check to see if we have an eager Adams-JeffCo volunteer for the committee. Weather can be interesting any of those months, although travel impedance more likely in March.Michael HaugheyAJ Greens

Proposing 7:00 pm, Thursday, April 2 for the initial call. If you want to join the call but can't that time, please respond with alternate dates/times. Time is of the essence.
