Good afternoon all! All of the agreed-upon changes are being put into place.  Tomorrow the site will change accordingly, but this new layout will pose new challenges for the website committee. - Some new pages have been created, and they will need new content (such as the State Officers' page)- Due to the changes in the links on the main menu, it will fall upon us to ensure that the pages have the proper content.  I am providing continuity, but some of the changes lead to more.. for example, the there is a suggestion to add short summaries of the duties of each state officer, etc.  The "Green Store" is another example of a page that will need content, although choosing the merchandise is not the repsonsibility of this committee. - maintenance and integration of all social networking accounts and oversight of their operationJust wanted to give a heads-up.  🙂  I'll let you know when the updates are made. Bill (acting as the web guy)

The first round of updates have been completed.  In addition to Ryan's plans that were approved by our panel, there are some other small things that have been changed.  I would like the web committee to check it out and report back with any problems found or things that could use changing.  The patience is paying off;  the site's looking great! Hi, Bill,How exciting! Thank you very much. At first glance, very happy. But noticed two things right away that some how were missed in planning:1 probably should be a tab about candidates and elections under About Us. I think that would be a good place for it (besides the button on the home page) so you could find it no matter which page you were in on the site2 elections and candidates on the right bar of the home page should probably be above chapter news, because elections etc. is more of a statewide concern, plus chapters may be slow in getting us updates and that would appear too static or have a bias toward the more active chapters who get stuff to us (which generally is OK but I think would be better if it were second in the order of things)What do you think of those two updates, Ryan and other forum peeps?I'll look at the rest of the site this weekend for more thoughts. I probably won't have time to fill in extra text/content on pages until late next week.Tanya

Hi, Bill,The Events link under Get Involved is not working. The calendar has disappeared! Please fix it when you have a chance. The Events blog link is still active so that is good but it would be nice to have the calendar back. Also, I figured out that the Vote Green link under Get Involved is the Candidate page, so disregard my last request/question about having a candidate link on the menu. It is there! I just have to update it.Also, I see the Be Green link but I don't understand or remember what info was supposed to be there. It looked like you put some info there as a placeholder. Please remind me if you get a chance. Thank you, Tanya

Hey Tanya, I can fix Events link under Get Involved.  I can point it to this page.  Is that correct?  I don't know about the calendar.  I think Bill will have to get that back up.  Bill and I worked this morning on some updates to the color of the website.  How do you feel about these updates.  Here is an excerpt from the post about the "Be Green" section.  The "Be Green" section is all about taking it to the next level.  This would have information about being a GPCO candidate and getting more involved with the internal workings of the GPCO.  We would also link to the "Join a Chapter" page.  This could also be the place to put the Am I Green section too.

Hey Tanya,I found this page.  Was the calendar embedded into the events page on the old website or was there just a link to http://www.coloradogreenparty.org/calendar/?
