MemberGreat! This passes12 votes agree0 disagree0 stand asideI just paid for the parade, so everyone get your walkin' shoes ready. Denver has already voted to kick in $100. Everyone, please ante up at the website.Let's make this year the toehold, and we can do a more radical event next year that won't get us all arrested for bum rushing the show. The dates of the Stonewall uprising (I don't call popular action "riots") are Jun 28, 1969 – Jul 1, 1969. Maybe we can have an alternate event during that time. Be nice to do something with Femme Left. Thanks, all.

MemberIn a nutshell, we have $1053 on hand. Our expenses are mostly Nationbuilder at $138 a month. There will be more detail at the state meeting. If you need to get an idea to date, take a look at the TRACER reports at the SoS.Donations overall are nearly nonexistent, especially from council members. In fact, this is a great time to remind everyone to start a recurring donation to the party, in however large an increment, here: https://greenpartycolorado.nationbuilder.com/sustainer.Harry, would you like to kick off the deluge with your own recurring donation first?

MemberIt's not. This is a better role for chairs to fill, and if council doesn't approve, they can run a proposal later to change that decision.

MemberOk folks, the voting is now closed.Agree/Yes: 15 (68%)Disagree/No: 7 (32%)Total votes: 22Proposal passesI understand from Poudre that there will be another proposal coming forward to deal with the longer voter registration term after the state meeting. Their intent is not to punish those chapters like Pikes Peak who are working hard to recruit new Greens via activism as opposed to voter registration drives alone. I can tell that the work is paying off, and it's a great local decision. We ARE the electoral tactic for grassroots movements, after all.I'll let this ride for a couple days to make sure everyone has a chance to review the results, and then I'll ask Sean to update the bylaws. Thanks to everyone for participating.

MemberOk, folks: excluding any votes that came in after midnight on Saturday, April 15, 2017, the results are:13 Agrees1 DisagreeI'll go ahead and create that new forum to work out the agenda, and as stated, we can consider FRIENDLY amendments. That new discussion area is here: http://gpco.fullydefiant.com/forum/index.php?board=55.0To assist in what a "friendly amendment" is, please read: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Friendly_amendment
"...a friendly amendment is an amendment to a motion under debate that is perceived by all parties as an enhancement to the original motion, often only as clarification of intent. However, these amendments are to be treated like other amendments." (emphasis mine)
Thanks to all for your participation.
