I will check with Tom, Kevin, and Harry tomorrow about the March 12th date and remind them about the $5.00.  Thanks for seeing about this Andrea.

I cannot say thank you enough for this proposal and though it leaves out perhaps one of the most important  Native American tribes of Colorado, the Ute's; but I know this is a monumental beginning.  I not only AGREE, but am informing you that I will send this proposal to my friends connected to the Ute reservation in Utah and Harvest another friend I have had for some time on Facebook.

Yes I would very much like to work with Laura.  It would also be nice to work with Laura because Tom would like to have her direction and advice on attending to the issues of the Treasurer and is looking forward to receiving some of her encouragement along with her direction.  Laura really is a very wise and talented woman, if we could continue to have her a place of leadership over a group of people, I believe it would be beneficial to the GPOC.

AgreeI do think the language before the bullet points should specify persons in leadership positions will do their best to follow the listed criteria of what a Green Party leader will do and encourage Green members to do the same. I think I do not believe we should be making all Green Party members follow the listed criteria, but we can expect those who are Green Party officers, those who are voting on Green party considerations to follow the criteria.I also agree with Harry that proposals should have more of the local chapters involved in discusions about what is happening in the state business.

It would be nice if someone listed the candidates running for Green Party State & National offices, which could include both the officials within the Green Party and those representing the Green Party on the public ballot.  It might even be nice to show the video of the present Green presidential candidates.  I think it would be nice if the Greens know how many and who the candidates are instead of just what the media has told us about the Dems & Rep.  Of course it would be good to know about past and future experiences from our Green CoChairs & other officers too.  I don't really think too much time should be spent on other party representatives; although I guess I have a few City Council members in the Dems in Broomfield & Lafayette I am excited for if we are going to do this.  It does seem like our time as Greens might be better spent brain storming about having Green candidates and why we don't.  I think it is more than the power of the 2 party.  Could it be a lack of support for new and current members.  What kind of support would motivate running in order to give the party exposure, even at the high risk of not winning?  I also think it would be good to start way ahead of an election and have pairs attending city council, state house & other meetings, so that we all get a feel of the procedure and issues established at these meetings.

I appreciate your leadership in this issue Bill.  Certainly it is appropriate for the leader of any organization to call for a discussionfrom the leaders when there is a question of the organization's  members spending time and effort on a different organization.  I have said this in our meeting and will repeat the following.  The Green Party candidates sacrifice a lot to run as candidates and deserve the loyalty of its members at every level.  I saw even when I ran for office that a member decided to return to their former friends and old organization rather than support my stand, which I preferred seeing rather than to have the member try to say they were a supporting a Green Party and not its candidates.  It seems in the Greater Boulder Green Party there was some conflict as to attention given to the democrat presidential candidate Bernie Sanders initially.  I am hopeful that in the meetings to come there will be no time provided for discussion of another party's candidate unless equal or more time is provided for our own Green Party presidtial candidates.  I should add here that I have myself with my chapter made a small deviation from the national platform in one area.  Certainly not in such an extreme way as to support Bernie Sanders and his idea of ignoring the killings in order to continue to take over Palistinian land in Israel, but weare in support of the ColoradoCare health plan.  I still support the national platforms endorsement of National Single Payer, but I also realize that there is not an option for that policy in the US.  Also I understand that Canada derived their public healthcare system by beginning with one province at a time.  I know this is another discussion, but thought while I am here it should be made known.

It doesn't matter to me which Saturday the meeting is on and I think it will be wonderful to meet in the Corky Gonzales Library in Denver.  I will look forward to seeing everyone.  Thank you for all for setting this up.

Fred Smith and Harry Hempy are the new Greater Boulder Green Party Ch-Chairs, and I see Harry has agreed on having a presence at the People's Fair.  Although I do not believe I am suppose to vote, I would like to say Tom and I would like to come and help in the booth.  Maybe it would be good if we volunteer two half days since Tom has a new -used pick up, so we can bring a table and pick up the tent if necessary as well help take them down.  We can go be Laura's before attending the Fair and pick up anything she would like to send.Susan & Tom Hall, members of Greater Boulder Green Party

I agree with Michael on a few more handouts.  Laura and I talked about having a trivia game going.  I really like that idea.  Maybe we could have some kind of easy organic snack for sale.  Like chips and chili or hot dogs.  Then people would have a bit of reason to stop and talk and we could make a couple dollars.  Also it would be nice if we had the bumper stickers and pins with magnets.  The magnets were the only kind of bumper stickers the Our Broomfield, anti-frackers handed out.  I have a small Green Party button and when I out it on my blouses it makes a hole.  I know peobably most of you will think this is an added unnecessary expense and it might be.  Inhope it is alright if I get to keep commenting on the forum even though I'm no longer an officer or CoChair.

Thanks Bill.  I copied the link and sent it to Tom and myself in an email.GBGP will discuss our plans for reaching out this coming Thurs.  I am thinking it would be good to reach out to the Democrats since we have new active members from their party.Susan Hall

I understand if some members don't want to go with the tables, but I like having them.  How about instead of having a roulette table we have a trivia game with questions on a card that ask political, Green, and current event questions.  Maybe they have to pay to play and can win a prize.  We could have 10 catecories that match up with our values.
